The Winterfeldtplatz Christmas market is located in the vibrant Schöneberg district, the traditional area for Berlin's gay community. The market specialises in arts and crafts but also includes a wide range of handmade toys, earthenware, jewellery, fragrant soaps and many other possible Christmas gifts.
Christmas foods are available in abundance, too. Bratwurst, freshly made waffles, candied fruits and roasted almonds are begging to be washed down with mulled wine, punch or other flavourful beverages. For entertainment there is a petting zoo where children can make friends with some furry creatures.
