Der preisgekrönte Fotograf und Maler Jagan Mehta (1909-2003) dokumentierte Gandhis Leben und begleitete ihn 1947 auf seinem letzten Friedensmarsch durch das nordindische Bihar. Erstmalig wurde eine Auswahl dieser Bilder außerhalb Indiens gezeigt.
