Ergänzung zum Leserbrief von Peter Landé in aktuell Nr. 90

My name is Peter Rothholz
And I’m a native Yekke too.
But your poem has left me out
And that makes me feel so very blue.

A “geborene” Gruenpeter
Is my sweet Breslau-born wife
And by her omission you’ve given
me “tsoris” and strife.
Could you possibly add her name
later?

My colleague Tom, der Tugend(haft),
He’s L.A.‘s favorite Berlin-born writer
Who each week makes the Jewish
Journal brighter,
He too is missing, as is my lieblings
Himbeersaft.

Then, too, the Isners and Bandmanns
Belong to my extended family.
You can call them Mishpoche or
Landsmann,
But a stauncher bunch of Yekkes you
will never see!
