DGSIs there any possible witness to support an application to Yad Vashem for Ernst von Harnack (famous for his part in the resistance in the failed plot 1944) to be recognised as a “righteous gentile”? He saved my mother’s life and the family Fritz and Gertrude Schönbeck, and other Jews, who were able to escape to England before 1939. As I was eleven years old at the time, I was too young to be counted as a witness. More testimony is required.
